Highly detailed 1/48 scale assembly model kit of the Nakajima C6N Saiun ("Colored Cloud"), a World War II two-seat, reconnaissance aircraft operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Codename "Myrt" by the Allies, the Nakajima C6N was a fast aircraft originally intended for operating aboard aircraft carriers, but by the time the Saiun entered service in 1944, there were very few IJN carriers remained, so the type operated mainly from land bases. Some 463 C6Ns were built, and despite its excellent speed, a unspecified Nakajima C6N1 was said to be the last aircraft shot down in the Second World War. This Hasegawa 1/72 scale assembly kit features the C6N1 variant, the original two-seat reconnaissance aircraft intended for the Imperial Japanese Navy, and this kit comes with detailed cockpit and rear gunner's position, optional open or closed canopies, separate flaps and slats, centerline drop-tank, and decals for two versions.
